Hello, Myself Anant Mundra from Simply Living. I hope to be your best buddy and thrilled to be a part of you making life fulfilling and embark on this fun journey of life together. I have started believing that you can do anything you set your mind to. Never stop reaching for your dreams, because even if you stumble you can easily stand up … I also experience same many times but Journaling helps me think, rectify, learn and redo and get back again. Believe in this process, appreciate it and most importantly have fun with it. For me Journaling has helped me in my thought process, improve creativity, reduce stress and boost memory and improve writing too. It helped me reduce stress- I have started practicing daily three things I am grateful for, how my day went and what can we do to improve, my three wishes….. This habit helped me reduce anxiety and greater resilience. And further boost my well-being and health It encourages me to always be positive in every situation because when we note down our thoughts it helps in acceptance and building commitment. Infact, journaling helps to separate your thoughts from you. When I write I try adding this phrase – “ I am having this particular though that……. (and so on) It helped me process my emotions in a safe , contained space. Writing down any of my emotions, experience and visualize it , accepting it helped me manage my emotions effectively as when I calm down my emotions tell me something. Example My anger is a sign that I need to set a stronger boundary with someone. Or my sadness is telling me to go out and mingle with different people and strengthen your connection. Infact, it helps me take the next step – What Next? I can do. Even writing the pros and cons of the situation get me deeper into the my desire. It helps me re-connect with myself and rediscover who we are. When I write, I learn my preferences, pain points, fears, favourites and liking, my dreams, desire. Infact, jounaling helps me to listen, be a bear witness to the changes and simply helps me know more about myself better. I would just say – One of the best thing you can do to yourself in life is to Love yourself” and this is possible through Journaling.
